The Digital Library of the Caribbean (dLOC), founded in 2004, is a cooperative digital library composed of partners in the Caribbean and beyond. Types of collections that dLOC hosts include, but are not limited to the following: newspapers, archives of Caribbean leaders and governments, official documents, documentation and numeric data for ecosystems, scientific scholarship, historic and contemporary maps, oral and popular histories, travel accounts, literature and poetry, musical expressions, and artifacts. To date, dLOC includes approximately 135 partners and associate partners, and hosts over 4 million pages of digital materials.
FIU Libraries is the home of the dLOC Outreach Hub.
