The Sanford Markham, MD Memorial Scholarship Endowment was created in memory of Dr. Markham, founding Executive Associate Dean for the Office of Student Affairs at HWCOM. Dr. Markham devoted his life to family, country, and medical education. Known for his ever-present bow ties and affable mild manner, Dr. Markham was a dedicated advocate for women’s healthcare. He continuously strived to instill professionalism to the next generation of physicians.
The Sanford Markham, MD Memorial Scholarship Endowment will be awarded to students enrolled in HWCOM who are in good academic and professional standing and demonstrate financial need.
How to Give
- Recurring Biweekly Payroll Deductions – Your Gift Amount will be deducted continuously. (i.e., $1.92 = $1.92 per pay period until you request a change)
- One Payment Payroll Deduction – Your Gift Amount will be deducted from one pay check only. (i.e., $100 = $ 100 from one pay period)
