The School of Universal Computing, Construction, and Engineering Education (SUCCEED) is addressing critical needs and opportunities facing engineering and computing education, especially in equity, diversity, and inclusion. Faculty within the school, along with students and staff, promote evidence-based approaches that broaden participation and improve educational success for all current and future engineering and computer science students at FIU and beyond.
The SUCCEED Discretionary Project is for the deposit of gifts to support the mission, work, and people of SUCCEED. Some examples of how these funds will be used include:
- financial support of students,
- student travel to conferences,
- bringing experts to campus as seminar speakers,
- receptions celebrating student accomplishments,
- communication of our work so that we can impact K-12 schools, other universities and industry
