A Women’s Studies degree gave me an absolute understanding of how the world we live in today came to be. This degree is not just about women and feminism, it is about men, minorities, and people all around the world. You are taken back to the start of time and shown how gender, race, religion, sexuality, and culture plays a key role in shaping an individual’s life and society as a whole. This degree has allowed me to put myself in other people’s shoes and become conscious that we don’t all see the same shade of red.Jesse Sanchez
