The School of Environment, Arts and Society (SEAS) unites socially and environmentally-oriented faculty in an effort to better understand and address the challenges that arise from the interaction between human and environmental systems. Housing the departments of Biological Sciences, Earth and Environment, and English, SEAS supports FIU’s efforts to address growing environmental concerns by uniting faculty in the sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Through outreach events, lectures, and programs, SEAS supports active community engagement with cutting-edge research to raise awareness and inspire action.
