The FIU Afterschool Treatment Program (ATP) provides behavioral treatment to elementary age children who have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and/or Autism in an afterschool setting. This program provides an alternative to medication that is commonly used to treat these disorders. The main goal of the program is to significantly improve children’s behavior and academic performance. Our staff is dedicated to helping our students reach their potential by providing them with the resources and support needed to excel in their emotional, social and intellectual functioning.
