The special education programs prepare pre-service teachers, current special educators, and advanced special education leaders across bachelors, masters and doctoral levels. Our programs utilize a field-centered preparation model around the belief that students with disabilities are entitled to a free and appropriate public education in the least restrictive yet most enabling environment and are to access the general education curriculum to the greatest extent possible. All of our programs emphasize the importance of working with families and within diverse, urban communities. We empower our students to be engaged citizens and agents of change to ensure the best outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
How to Give
- Recurring Biweekly Payroll Deductions – Your Gift Amount will be deducted continuously. (i.e., $1.92 = $1.92 per pay period until you request a change)
- One Payment Payroll Deduction – Your Gift Amount will be deducted from one pay check only. (i.e., $100 = $ 100 from one pay period)
