The Scholarship Awarding Global Excellence (SAGE) fundraising provides scholarship opportunities to undergraduate transfer non-international and undergraduate international students of Florida International University who have a 2.78 and above GPA; are full-time students and have earned a minimum of 12 credits at FIU; and whose application includes an essay on their career goals, and how this scholarship will assist them in achieving their goals.
The SAGE Scholarship competition is held during the Spring semester each year. In addition to cash donations, funds are raised primarily from a Silent Auction of donation items from area businesses. The scholarships range from $500-$1,000 each.
How to Give
- Recurring Biweekly Payroll Deductions – Your Gift Amount will be deducted continuously. (i.e., $1.92 = $1.92 per pay period until you request a change)
- One Payment Payroll Deduction – Your Gift Amount will be deducted from one pay check only. (i.e., $100 = $ 100 from one pay period)
