The College of Medicine General Scholarship benefits medical students who exhibit financial need. Funds may support students who are facing a personal financial crisis that threatens to derail their education through the Student Emergency Fund.
Additionally, scholarship funds support students who are in good academic standing and have made significant contributions to the Herbert Wertheim College Of Medicine (HWCOM) and the surrounding community through the HWCOM Ignite Student Scholarship.
How to Give
- Recurring Biweekly Payroll Deductions – Your Gift Amount will be deducted continuously. (i.e., $1.92 = $1.92 per pay period until you request a change)
- One Payment Payroll Deduction – Your Gift Amount will be deducted from one pay check only. (i.e., $100 = $ 100 from one pay period)
