When Dean Anthony “Tony” Marshall retired from Florida International University in October 1998, he established and personally funded the Anthony G. Marshall American Dream Scholarship. His desire was to provide support to full-time, undergraduate hospitality students with financial need. Marshall served as founding assistant dean for FIU’s School of Hospitality & Tourism Management and Dean from 1982 to 1998. .
